Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round and got an outstanding performance bonus. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
